Atlanta at Indiana Betting Tips

As the first round of the NBA playoffs has got well underway, there are three games for punters to get stuck into tonight.

Indiana suffered a surprise defeat at home to Atlanta in their first match on Monday, when Jeff Teague scored a fine 28 points in just 35 minutes. They face Atlanta at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse again on Wednesday in what they will see as a must win game.

Both Brooklyn and Washington recorded important away wins in their first games over Toronto and Chicago respectively earlier in the week. They are back in action on Wednesday and will be looking to extend their leads.

Atlanta at Indiana Betting Tips

Despite that first defeat, Pacers remain strong favourites and can be backed at a best price of 2/7 with Sky Bet. Hawks represent decent value and are 11/4 with most leading firms.

Paddy Power are offering 13/10 for Pacers to win by 1-10, which seems a good bet judging on the first game. Indiana will be desperate to get back to winning ways, however it is sure to be a difficult match and a close score line is a definite possibility.

Hawks to lead at the half way point before Indiana come back to win may also be another decent bet. On numerous occasions throughout the regular season Indiana did this and at 9/2, it may be worth a punt.

Finally, the 5/6 that Paddy Power are offering for Jeff Teague to score above 18.5 is another decent bet, following his fantastic display in the first match. We should also expect a big game from Paul George who scored well the first time the teams met. He represents good value at 5/6 to score above 22.5 points.

Brooklyn at Toronto Betting Tips

Raptors are another team looking to get their first win on the board and can be backed at 1/2 with most leading firms to beat the Nets.

Boylesports offer the best odds for the away side, with 7/4 a rather tempting bet after the performance they showed in the first match.

Joe Johnson and Deron Williams split 48 points between them and led the Nets to an important first victory. Johnson is 5/6 to score above 17.5 points on Wednesday night, whilst Williams is the same price to score above 16.5. Both are worth a punt and represent decent value.

Kyle Lowry continued his fine form in the first match and top scored for Toronto with 22 points. He was still a way below his best though; however we are sure to see a big improvement from him. He is 5/6 to score above 21.5 points.

Washington at Chicago Betting Tips

The last of Wednesday’s three games sees Bulls host Washington again. The first game saw Nene Hilario lead the Wizards with 24 points, whilst D.J Augustin and Kirk Hinrich top scored for Bulls with only 16 each.

Joakim Noah was awarded the Defensive Player Of The Year award after a fantastic season and will be looking to put in another fine display in the second match between the sides.

Wizards symbolise good value at 21/10 to take a 2-0 lead, however Bulls are as short as 2/5 to level the series.

Paddy Power offer 13/10 for the hosts to win by 1-10, which could be a good bet in what is expected to be another close game.

I think we can expect a big game from Noah tonight and he is 5/6 to score above 12.5 points and the same price to get more than 11.5 boards.

John Wall has had an excellent season and 5/6 is another good price for him to land more than eight assists.
