The busy Championship schedule continues on Sunday afternoon with all 24 sides playing in a full set of fixtures. Picks include Nottingham Forest v Leeds United and Watford v QPR.
Charlton v Sheffield Wednesday
It may only be December but both sides will be earmarking this fixture as a six pointer with the threat of relegation a real possibility for both Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday.
Chris Powell’s Charlton picked up their first win in five games on Boxing Day with an impressive 3-2 win over promotion-chasing Brighton and they are boosted with the availability of Johnnie Jackson after finishing his suspension.
Wednesday are still to appoint a new manager following the sacking of Dave Jones at the start of December although they have picked up some decent wins in recent weeks, most notably over Leicester City and Watford.
Joe Mattock is available for the Owls side after a thigh strain but Giles Coke and Connor Wickham both face late fitness tests before the game.
Nottingham Forest v Leeds United
There’s a tasty tie-up at the Forest ground as fifth-placed Nottingham Forest take on Leeds United who are sixth, with both sides going into the game unbeaten in the last five games.
Forest returned to the play-offs with an excellent 2-0 win over QPR on Thursday evening which included a goal from Greg Halford, who could start up front due to the suspension of Darius Henderson.
Leeds have drawn their last two against Barnsley and Blackpool and Brian McDermott could hand teenager Gboly Ariyibi his debut after making the bench on Boxing Day whilst Luke Murphy returns from suspension.

Watford v QPR
QPR will be looking to bounce back from the Boxing Day defeat to Forest but face another tricky away trip, this time against Watford.
Watford picked up a much needed win on Boxing Day, their first in 10 games, a run which has seen them slip out of the play-offs and into 12th position.
Giuseppe Sannino could name the same squad that defeated Millwall 4-0 on Thursday but may also be able to select Daniel Pudil and Hector Bellerin who could both return following injury lay-offs.
Back-to-back losses Leicester and Forest have seen Harry Redknapp’s side drop to third but Harry Redknapp will be able to select Joey Barton after he served his suspension but striker Charlie Austin remains a doubt.
This match is also available live from 3pm via the Bet 365 live streaming service.
