Very disappointing performance by Chievo last round away at Sampdoria (lost 2-1). Chievo played against 10 for about half an hour but still lost in the dying seconds.
They are still only 2 points above the relegation zone so motivation was there for sure, but sadly for them capabilities are very limited.
It will be even harder this round as they will have to do without the services of central defender Cesar, fullback Frey and forward Hetemaj, all of them suspended.
Although chances are pretty slim Torino are still chasing the 5th place that will take them to Europa League. They are on a good run and confidence is running high after gathering 13 points in 5 rounds.
The 3-4-3 system allows them to fully exploit the offensive abilities of forwards Immobile and Cerci or midfielder El Kaddouri. Of course this formula has a downsize as there are always open spaces in defense and they conceded 1.28 goals per game. But lately Torino always managed to outscore the opponent.
Last week against Udinese (Torino won 2-0) there was an improvement in the defensive phase. Players were a bit more attentive and the support from midfield increased. If they will apply the same tactics this round Torino won’t leave empty handed from Chievo.
Motivation is there for both sides but team news and value heavily favor guests. Torino Draw No Bet at 1.83 from Bet365 is a must take.
