Levante are having a disastrous run with 4 straight defeats and only 1 goal scored in the last month. They had a couple of important players injured but that’s not the major problem anymore as the confidence is severely affected by now.
There seems to be no real strategy for Levante, there’s no plan, only chaos.
In comparison to last round Levante should welcome back forward Diawara and defender El Adoua.
Opponents Elche have alternating results but the performance in the field is always consistent. This can only mean that Elche lose points against valuable opponents and win against poor or out-of-form teams.
They play in a classic 4-2-3-1 with midfielders able to create the perfect balance between the defensive and the offensive phase.
Levante will try hard to end the bad run but even the playing relations are affected by now. The extra motivation could actually harm the hosts (leave many open spaces) who don’t actually have a strong defense.
Levante will bounce back eventually but I don’t think it will happen before the winter break as they need to raise the chemistry level once again.
Most probably Elche will use the same team as last round as they don’t have any new injuries.
Bookies made a mistake in setting the odds. At 1.90 from Bet365 for Elche +0.25 the value is definitely on guests
