With it being FA Cup semi-finals weekend, there are just eight Premier League clashes, but there are matches which could have huge permutations at both ends of the table by the end of the season.
Fulham v Norwich City Betting Tips
With just five games left, the clock is ticking at the foot of the table and Saturday afternoon sees a massive clash in the relegation scrap as 18th placed Fulham host 17th placed Norwich.
Norwich, who controversially sacked Chris Hughton earlier this week, currently hold a five point advantage over the Cottagers but if they lose on Saturday, they’ll be brought right into the relegation scrap.
Conversely, if the Canaries win, they’ll go eight points clear of the bottom three and you’d fancy their chances of staying up. This clash really has a feel of winner takes all.
Wins against Newcastle and Aston Villa in recent weeks have seen Felix Magath’s Fulham climb from the foot of the table and they are boosted by the returns of Scott Parker, Dan Burn, Giorgos Karagounis and Darren Bent.
Norwich, who have picked up just one win in six, are managed by Neil Adams for the first time and he has Michael Turner and Leroy Fer back from hamstring injuries.
Liverpool v Manchester City Betting Tips
The first of Sunday’s double header is a key clash at the top of the Premier League as current leaders Liverpool face bookies title favourites Manchester City.
City currently have two games in hand over Liverpool and Chelsea but if the Reds are able to pull out what would be their tenth league win in a row, you’d certainly have to favour them in the race for the title.
Visitors City have won five of their last six, with their fate still in their own hands and they came out on top when the sides last met at The Etihad in December.
Daniel Agger is back in contention for the hosts after a knee injury but Jose Enrique remains sidelined. Manuel Pellegrini could recall Sergio Aguero following a hamstring injury but Matija Nastasic is out with injury.
Watch this match live on Sky Sports 1 from 1:37pm on Sunday.
Swansea City v Chelsea Betting Tips
The final Premier League match of the weekend sees Chelsea hope to keep their title challenge alive as they travel to South Wales to play an out of form Swansea.
The hosts have picked up just one win in their last eleven games in all competitions and Garry Monk’s side could still do with picking up a point or two to guarantee safety.
After their blip against Crystal palace a fortnight ago, Chelsea have back well with a 3-0 win over Stoke last week before coming past PSG in midweek to make the semi-finals of the Champions League.
BET OF THE DAY: The last six games between these two sides have both been cagey, close affairs, with no more than two goals in each of the six games. Ladbrokes offer 17/20 on under 2.5 goals.
This match is live from 4:07pm on Sky Sports 1.
All games this weekend will kick off seven minutes late for a mark of respect of the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.
