NBA Betting Tips 12th December 2013

Golden State Warriors host Dallas Mavericks on Thursday in a busy night’s action in the NBA. Warriors lie two places behind the Mavericks in the Western, so this one is sure to be a thrilling game.

Dallas Mavericks @ Golden State Warriors – 3:30 am

Both teams are looking to get back to winning ways and the Warriors are strong favourites at 5/11 to do so. Dallas are the 2/1 outsiders as they travel to the Oracle Arena, however they were victorious last time the sides met in November.

Steph Curry shot a season-high 43 points in Warriors’ loss to Bobcats on Wednesday and he is 5/6 to score above 24.5 points which symbolises good value.

The final score was 103-99 the last time these two sides met and it could be a close one again here, meaning the 7/2 for Warriors to win by 1-5 is a tempting bet with Paddy Power.

Paddy Power are offering a money back special for all bets if there is a basket scored in the final 10 seconds of the game and the live contest can be viewed on BT Sport.

Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks – 1:00 am

The Bulls are going through a difficult time at present, with Derrick Rose sidelined for the season; centre Joakim Noah suffering with a bruised thigh and Luol Deng and Jimmy Butler still both unable to return.

That put with their dismal away record means Bulls are currently sitting in the lowest play-off position in the Eastern.

They travel to Madison Square Garden to face another one of the NBA’s surprise strugglers, New York Knicks.

Knicks have won just five games all season and have not looked the same team since the injury Tyson Chandler picked up in the first week of November.

These two sides both need a victory to get back on track and I think the Knicks represent best value at 4/5 with Bwin.

With the amount of injuries Bulls have, the obvious bet is Knicks. Another decent bet is for Bulls to lead at the half with the Knicks then stealing the spoils late on.

L.A Clippers @ Boston Celtics – 12:30 am

Doc Rivers and the L.A Clippers travel to Boston to play the much-improved Celtics. Both sides lie fourth in their conferences; however Clippers hold the much better record of 14-8 in the more challenging side of the NBA at present.

Clippers are 6-6 away and are the strong 4/9 favourites going into this one. Celtics have an equal 50-50 record at home and are currently 5-5. At 11/5, they may be worth a bet.

Clippers to win by 1-10 at 11/8 with Paddy Power may also be a decent bet, along with the in-form Jeff Green to score above 16.5 points at 5/6.

Elsewhere in the NBA, San Antonio Spurs are massive 3/19 favourites to beat Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons will look to get back to winning ways over the Pelicans and high flying Oklahoma City Thunder travel the Memphis.

Sacramento host Utah, Timberwolves look to get another good win over Philadelphia and Bobcats looks to continue in good form against Orlando Magic.

BET OF THE DAY: Fourfold – Charlotte Bobcats, Oklahoma City Thunder, Sacramento Kings & New York Knicks to win at 3.9/1
