Toronto Raptors look to continue their fine form against Miami Heat on what is a relatively busy night of action in the NBA on Sunday.
Golden State Warriors hope to extend their blistering form against Washington Wizards, whilst Detroit Pistons host Memphis Grizzlies in one of the tightest clashes of the night.
Toronto Raptors @ Miami Heat – Sunday, 11:00 pm
Raptors have won nine of their last 11 matches, including wins over the Pacers and Thunder. They are looking for a sixth straight win, however face one of the toughest tests, playing Miami at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
Bwin offer the best price of 5/19 for a Miami win, with Toronto Raptors at 3/1 with the same firm. Although Heat sits above Dwane Casey’s men, the 3/1 represents good value for a team in their best form.
Golden State Warriors @ Washington Wizards – Sunday, 11:00 pm
Warriors have won eight in a row, including a 123-114 away victory over Heat on Friday. They face Wizards, who are 5-5 in their last 10 and 7-7 at home. Golden State have a decent away record though, winning 11 and losing nine, so go into this one clear favourites.
William Hill offer 4/6 for the visitors, whilst Washington can be backed at 7/5 with Ladbrokes. Steph Curry has been one of the best players in the league again this season, averaging 23.3ppg to go with 9.6 boards.
Paddy Power are offering 5/6 for Curry to score above 25.5 points, with the same odds for John Wall to score above 21.5 for the home side. Both represent decent value for punters.
Mark Jackson’s men are averaging 103.4ppg compared to Wizards 98.5 and have been better defensively so far.
Memphis Grizzlies @ Detroit Pistons – Sunday, 6:00 pm
Detroit Pistons have hit a bad streak, losing three straight games but are back in action after four days off and will be in good shape to hit back. Grizzlies lost to Denver by three points which will have been a confidence knock.
Maurice Cheeks’ men are 3/4 favourites with Bet Victor to get back to winning ways, whilst Memphis can be backed at 5/4 with
Bwin for this competitive match-up.
New York Knicks @ Dallas Mavericks – Monday, 12:30 am
New York Knicks travel to the American Airlines Center to face Dallas as they still search for a fine run of form. Knicks have had a woeful start to the season, recording figures of 10-22.
Both teams will be hopeful that star men can return, as Carmelo Anthony and Dirk Nowitzki have both suffered with sprained ankles.
William Hill offer a decent 9/4 for a New York win and are as short as 4/11 for a well expected Mavericks victory.
If Anthony does play, he is 5/6 to score above 27.5 points, whilst Dirk Nowitzki is the same odds to score above 21.5 which looks the better bet of the two.
Elsewhere, Eastern leaders Indiana travel to play Cleveland, Oklahoma face Boston at home and Denver, who ended their terrible run of form on Saturday play L.A. Lakers.
