NBA Betting Tips 6th November 2013

Last year’s champions Miami Heat travel to the Skydome on Wednesday to face the 2-1 Toronto Raptors, whilst the undefeated Indiana Pacers take on the much-improved Detroit Pistons.

Portland welcome the high-flying Houston Rockets to the Moda Center in what will prove a tough game for the home side and the New York Knicks will hope to get back to winning ways as they face Charlotte Bobcats.

Miami Heat @ Toronto Raptors 12:00 am

The Raptors have recorded early victories over Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, whilst losing to Atlanta Hawks in between successes. This is bound to be their toughest contest yet, although Heat have not enjoyed the start they may have wished for.

The Heat are as short as 4/9 though, whilst the Raptors are 2/1 best price to make it 3 wins from 4. It is sure to be a thrilling game, however a Heat victory is hard to back against.

Indiana Pacers @ Detroit Pistons 12:30 am

As Pacers currently top the Eastern Conference, they are 3/4 favourites to continue their unbeaten streak at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Pistons are currently 11/10 best price for the victory and should go close at decent odds.

Both teams are scoring well and a combined score of over 192.5 between both teams may well be a good bet at 33/20 with Bet365.

Houston Rockets @ Portland Trail Blazers 03:00 am

The Rockets lost their first game of the season against a very strong LA Clippers in their last game, however they have started strongly and James Harden and Dwight Howard look very threatening together.

Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers have had a decent start too though, winning 2 of their first 3 matches.

The Rockets are 11/10 with William Hill to get back to winning ways and are hard to bet against, which represents decent value for punters in this one.

Dallas Mavericks visit the Staples Center to face LA Lakers on the night and they are 2-1 coming into this, following their defeat over Memphis last week.

They are as short as 5/9 though and a Lakers victory may well be worth a punt at very good value of 15/4 with Bet Victor. Although they are still without Kobe Bryant, they have had a decent start to the new season and beat Atlanta 105-103 in their last game.

The final combined score to be below 212 may well be a decent bet at Evens, as both defences are strong.

Elsewhere, the Knicks are a very short 1/5 to rekindle some form and beat the Bobcats. They have had a difficult start to the season; however they should get back on track and win this one. A decent side bet is Knicks to win by 10-13 points, which is 5/1 with Bet365.

Brooklyn should beat win less Utah at the Barclays Center and San Antonio are expected to beat Denver Nuggets. Sacramento welcome Atlanta in what should be a competitive contest, whilst Phoenix will hope to continue their decent start as they travel to New Orleans to face the Pelicans.
