The NFL Divisional games produced two fantastic games last night, and tonight should be no different with two great games in store.
San Francisco 49ers @ Carolina Panthers – Sun, Jan 12 18:05
The 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers 23-20 last week to earn a divisional matchup with the Panthers, as both team meet with 12/4 records. The Panthers have the edge in this matchup winning the last 4 games including the most recent 10-9 victory on November 10. The 49ers were lacking key receivers Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree for that game, and Kaepernick was sacked 6 times.
The 49ers go in as slight favourites at 20/21 with Paddy Power, while the Panthers are 100/100 with Sporting Bet at home. The Touchdown market is strong with last weeks bet of the day Frank Gore is a better 11/10 to score anytime than evens last week with Ladbrokes, and teammates Davis and Michael Crabtree are 6/5 and 2/1 with Bet Victor and Bwin respectively. 49ers to score over 20.5 points is 5/6 with Ladbrokes and under 5.5 sacks in the game s evens with Bet 365. Although the Panthers should be favourites here, the 49ers are the team you should fancy to win, but this will certainly be a close game. 49ers to win by 1-5 or 6-10 are both 4/1 with Paddy Power, and the Panthers to win by 1-6 is also 4/1, with Bet Victor.
San Diego Chargers @ Denver Broncos – Sun Jan 12 21:40
The Chargers are holders of the best statistic in the NFL, the team who opened their season against the Philadelphia Eagles has gone on to win the Superbowl in the past 4 years (Saints, Packers, Giants, Ravens) Whilst the Broncos have been the best offensive team perhaps in NFL history. They score 606 points this year, a record, and advanced to 13-3 by the end of the season. The Chargers sneaked into the playoffs but there was nothing sneaky about their dominant win over the Bengals in the Wildcard game last week. They were one of only 3 teams to beat the Broncos, and the only ones to win in Denver as they won 27-20 on December 13.
As you may imagine the Broncos are favourites at 4/5 with Boylesports, while the Chargers are 3/1 with Bet Victor. Broncos to score under 31 points is 10/11 with Bet Victor, Chargers to score 15 points first is 5/2 with Paddy Power and no first quarter touchdown is 7/2 with Paddy Power. It’s safe to stay clear of the Broncos on touchdown betting as their offense is so diverse, but the Chargers have some good options anytime in Keenan Allen at 6/4 with William Hill and Ryan Mathews at 7/5 with Paddy Power. Broncos to win by 1-10 is 13/10 with Paddy Power and the Chargers to win by 1-10 is 9/2, also with Paddy Power.
BET OF THE DAY – San Diego Chargers @ Denver Broncos – Ryan Mathews to score a touchdown anytime 7/5 Paddy Power.
