NFL Week 12 Betting tips

Jack Benyon

Week 12 in the NFL poses some fantastic match ups including the 14th edition of Manning vs Brady and a huge NFC battle between the Cowboys and Giants.

Denver Broncos @ New England Patriots – Mon, November 25 1:30

Tom Brady is 9-4 against Peyton Manning in the battle of the two best quarterbacks of a generation, but the Broncos are the only team in the NFL with a winning record against Brady and the Pats (5-3). The Broncos and the NFL’s most dangerous offence are 5/6 with Bet Victor, whilst the steady Pats are 23/20 with Sporting Bet as they are 7-3 even without a legitimate lead receiver. The 9-1 Broncos have the benefit of Wes Welker, former Patriots receiver and Brady’s most successful receiver during their 5 year tenure together. Welker is evens to score a touchdown anytime with Paddy Power, whilst the Broncos to win by 11-20 is 13/2 with Paddy Power.

San Francisco 49ers @ Washington Redskins – Tues, November 26 1:40

The 6-4 49ers come off the back of a shattering defeat to the New Orleans Saints to face a Jekyll and Hyde 3-7 Redskins team who’s offense and defence can be twice as bad as it is good. Boylesports rate the 49ers at 20/43 whilst the Redskins are 11/5 with Sporting Bet. The 49ers should feast on the awful Redskins defence, and San-Fran to score 3 touchdowns is 14/5, or 4 touchdowns is 15/4 both with William Hill. Vernon Davis is a safe bet to score a touchdown anytime at 5/4 with Bwin if he stays fit during the game, and Pierre Garcon is 3/2 to score a touchdown anytime with Ladbrokes. 49ers are evens to win by 1-13 with Bet 365, and Kaepernick to score a touchdown in anytime is 2/1, a nice outside bet also with Bet 365.

Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants – Sun, Nov 24 21:25

The 5-5 Cowboys face a 4-6 Giants team that is just one place behind them in the NFC east after 4 straight wins. However all 4 of those wins came against injured or backup quarterbacks, and this game will be a real test of how far the Giants have come after their 0-6 start. The Giants are 10/13 with William Hill whilst the Cowboys are 5/4 with Boylesports. The game looks like a were going to score one more than you type affair as both teams boast a potent pass offense but poor defense on the pass and run side of the ball. The last scoring team to win is 1/3 with Ladbrokes, whilst Victor Cruz to score anytime is evens with Coral.

Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers – Sun Nov 24 18:00

The 2-8 Vikings at least have a chance at beating the 5-5 Packers as they struggled to a 0-3 record since losing Aaron Rogers last week against the New York Giants. The Vikings are 7/4 with Betfred and have at least been respectable since re-promoting Christian Ponder to starting quarterback. The Packers are 1/2 with Bet Victor and are relying on rookie running back Eddie Lacy to pull them through games without Rogers. He’s 3/4 to score anytime with Bwin, whist last year’s MVP Adrian Peterson is 13/18, also with Bwin.

BET OF THE DAY – Denver Broncos @ New England Patriots – Julius Thomas is one of only three players with double digit touchdown numbers with 10 so far in 10 games. He’s 6/4 with Bet 365.
