As the NFL regular season begins to come to a close and the play-offs draw ever closer, both the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will hope to join Indianapolis Colts in clinching victory in their respective divisions.
New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins – Sun, Dec 15 18:00
The Patriots take on division challengers Miami Dolphins, who have won their last two and seem ready to make a statement to New England. The Patriots won a hard fought match 27-17 the last time the sides met back in October; however they are without Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski, who is ruled out for the rest of the season at least. This is likely to be one of the tightest games of the weekend and Patriots seem to be slight favourites with most firms at 10/11. Paddy Power offers the best price of 21/20 for Dolphins to make it three successive wins.
San Francisco 49ers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Sun, Dec 15 18:00
San Francisco 49ers recorded a gutsy win over the solid Seahawks in week 14 to make it three wins in a row. They travel across the map to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who got back to winning ways with a strong win over the Bills last week. Vincent Jackson and Vernon Davis both represent decent touchdown value, as does Colin Kaepernick. The Buccaneers are 2/1 best price to win the match, whilst Bet Victor offer the best odds of 4/9 for the 49ers to make it four consecutive wins.
New Orleans Saints @ St.Louis Rams – Sun, Dec 15 21:25
New Orleans Saints are currently top of the NFC South and will look to capitalise on what may be a difficult game for the Panthers who face the Jets. Panthers lie second behind the Saints, who should win this one at short odds of 7/19. Tight end Jimmy Graham has recorded the most receiving touchdowns with 14, almost one per game. He represents good value to score a touchdown again here, and is 6/1 to cross the line first. Saints to win by 7-12 at 9/2 with William Hill symbolises good value for punters.
Buffalo Bills @ Jacksonville Jaguars – Sun, Dec 15 18:00
The Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars are both 4-9 going into this one at EverBank Field. The Jags have gone from 0-8, to winning three on the bounce. Bills haven’t won in two and the two teams have not faced one another since December last year. Buffalo are still slight favourites, with most firms going 4/5, however Jaguars represent the better value for a team in hot form, at 11/10. The Jags represent good value of 18/5 to win by 1-6 and Maurice Jones-Drew is 8/1 with William Hill to score the first touchdown.
In other games, the Redskins take on 3-10 Atlanta with quarterback RGIII to be benched for the remainder of the season due to health concerns. Eagles, who have won five in a row, take on the Vikings and look to extend their winning run, whilst Jets travel to Carolina and Packers face Dallas.
BET OF THE DAY: New Orleans Saints @ St.Louis Rams – Jimmy Graham is in great form, having scored 14 TD’s so far this season. He scored two last week and another big game is expected in Week 15.
