Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United
The most intriguing fixture of the weekend is certainly at White Hart Lane on Sunday when Tottenham welcome the champions Manchester United.
Both teams will be disappointed with their performances last weekend, with Spurs in particular routed by Manchester City 6-0. Their lack of incision has been present throughout the opening stages of the season, and they have struggled for goals as a result. Roberto Soldado in particular has looked limp since the first weeks of the season, and is to be avoided.
Man Utd are 6 matches unbeaten now in the Premier League and come to London off the back of an impressive 5-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday. Even in spite of the absence of Robin Van Persie, the partnership between Wayne Rooney and Shinji Kagawa looked an exciting prospect, and could just give Man Utd enough firepower to breach a Spurs defence that has registered the highest amount of clean-sheets in the league.
Chelsea vs Southampton
Elsewhere, Chelsea vs Southampton should be a good test for both sides. The draw at 10/3 with Coral represents good value for a Southampton side that have been one of the success stories of the season so far, and Chelsea who have been inconsistent lately, and were lucky not to get beat by West Brom at home last time out.
The match can be seen live on Sky Sports 1 at 16.10.
