Saturday’s Horse Racing Tips

With seven meetings across the UK & Ireland, Saturday’s racing is sure to supply punters with some thrilling action. Sandown Park host the Betfred Summer Raceday, which will offer the highest quality racing in the feature meeting.

Thoroughbred Breeders Association Atalanta Stakes (Group 3)

Integral leads the betting in the Thoroughbred Breeders Association Atalanta Stakes, with Ladbrokes and William Hill offering the best price of 6/4. She won over course and distance here in July and a repeat of that win is on the cards.

Sir Michael Stoute’s filly did not show her worth in the Nassau Stakes last time, when finishing seventh of the fourteen, however she is back to her previous winning trip so is a likely improver.

Godolphin’s favoured entry; Zibelina poses a massive threat here though, following three consecutive wins. The 3-year-old is unbeaten but will have to defy a penalty to win this one. Coral offer 11/4 best price for the filly who has to be respected.

Ladys First is another who should run well under Tony Hamilton, whilst Shuruq and Falls Of Lora represent good value for money.

Betfred Mobile Solario Stakes (Group 3)

The Solario Stakes is the other Group 3 contest on the card at Sandown and John Gosden’s colt, Kingman is the hot 4/9 favourite with Paddy Power.

He won well on his debut at Newmarket in June, when easily beating Adhwaa by 6l. He has many big race entries and we can determine just how good a horse he is today.

Music Theory is the 4/1 second favourite with most firms and will hope for a third straight win in this, however he did not have much to beat at Newmarket last time and this will be much harder.

Godolphin’s other entry, Emirates Flyer is running well of late, although this contest will be hard for him and a place looks his best chance. Rosso Corsa is the 40/1 outsider following a fourth in Group 2 at Goodwood latest.

Hunters Creek, Silver Dixie and Broadway Duchess are three more to consider in the following races at Sandown. All are in fine form and warrant respect in the final three races of the meeting.

Golden Square Shopping Centre Chester Stakes (Listed)

The Golden Square Shopping Centre Chester Stakes is the feature race of the Golden Square Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse.

William Haggas’ Sun Central is the 7/2 favourite for the race and has won 4 of his last 7 races. He won well over 1m6f at York last time and superb jockey Seb Sanders is aboard. He will have to defy an 8lb penalty to win again here, but has every chance.

Star Lahib cannot be ignored here and should appreciate the new trip, as should Montaser who will need to be at his best to have a chance in this. Alta Lilea represents decent each-way value under Graham Lee and looks best of outsiders.

Lilbourne Lass is another sure to run well in the following race at Chester and Nashville represents good value and could be worth a bet in the final race at 5.40.

Other quality racing action is available from Bath, Killarney and Newton Abbot during the afternoon, before Bath and Market Rasen supply punters with some fine evening action.
