Valladolid were very unlucky to lose last round away at Betis (finished 4-3). Although in terms of possession and chances created the game was pretty balanced, Valladolid had the lead for about 75 minutes but collapsed physically and ended up losing in the dying seconds.
They still have solid chances to salvage this season and avoid relegation but they need to win against direct opponents Granada in this final round of the season.
Even if their morale may have been affected by last result, there is no doubt Valladolid will be fired up for this encounter, seeing an entire season depends on a single performance.
The good news is that striker Javi Guerra netted twice last round and picked up form after not being able to find the net for about 2 months.
As expected Granada were the ones in charge last round against Almeria. But just like in recent rounds their attacking phase was chaotic and defensively they were simply too loose (lost 2-0 in the end).
Granada are only 2 points above the relegation zone but given their playing style at the moment they should be main contenders for going down in Segunda… Players’ nonchalant attitude is also a major setback.
Both sides will miss a central defender due to suspension. Valladolid will have to do without Marc Valiente and Granada without Murillo.
Hosts have a superior organization that will allow them to keep it tight at the back and exploit every single mistake opponents will make. Valladolid to win at 11/10 from Ladbrokes Ladbrokes can be taken with medium confidence.
