Although judging by recent results it may not appear to be the case, Villareal’s game has improved lately.
Last round away at Atletico Madrid (one of the best teams in Europe this year), Villareal successfully coped with a couple of important absences and were almost equal to Atletico (lost 1-0 in the end). At times it even seemed Villareal was the better side and the one imposing the rythm.
Hosts will welcome back defender Jaume Costa who was suspended last round. There is also a high possibility for defender Musacchio and forward Uche to make their comebacks after injury.
Villareal seem to be heading in the right direction and if they keep up the high tempo a place in Europa League at the end of the season shouldn’t be hard to get.
Levante were outplayed last week on home ground against Bilbao (lost 2-1). Athletic created the best of chances and were always confident when defending.
It appeared that Levante didn’t even tried that hard as they may have a motivational problem nowadays. The season is not far from over and they can’t really go anywhere up or down. Especially away from home Levante will be more detached than usual.
Levante will welcome back defender Navarro ho was suspended last round, but will miss top scorer Barral who got a red card against Bilbao.
Form, value and motivation scream home win. Villareal -1 (with money back if they win just by 1) at 1.85 from
Bet365 is too valuable to miss.
